I’m a basic Target mom. I love Target. All things Target. I love to drink my Starbucks, browse the dollar spot and find all the awesome deals throughout the store. I have an obsession with Target clearance items. From the clothes, the shoes, household goods and snacks, I can’t get enough of the clearance endcaps.
I shop at Target online, in person and on the app on me phone. It’s seriously the best place ever in my eyes. I can find just about EVERYTHING I need there, clothes, shoes, diapers, socks, pillows, coffee, cereal, outdoor furniture, school supplies, medication, makeup, cleaning supplies, baby toys, electronics….etc.
To maximize my savings at Target use my cartwheel app to score great deals on my everday items and sometimes new items I’ve been waiting to try. I use coupons as well, which I can easily print from Target.com. When I remember, I bring my own canvas bags, because I get 5¢ off my total for each bag I bring in and they use. I maximize my savings even more when I use my Target REDcard.
Do you have a Target REDcard? I use it for every transaction so that I can save 5% off my purchase. It doesn’t sound like alot, but boy does that add up! This year alone, I’ve saved over $107 just by using our red card!
You can choose to use a Target debit REDcard or apply for a Target credit REDcard. Either way, you get that 5% savings! If you don’t have one already, you should sign up for one now, that way you will maximize your savings this holiday season, using your redcard when you run out for last minute holiday decorations, presents or wrapping paper!
One of my FAVORITE perks with having my Target REDcard, I get FREE shipping, on everything I order from Target.com. Seriously, FREE SHIPPING, on top of my 5% savings.
Signing up is easy, you can use this link here or you can sign up in person at Target, just note you will need some banking information with you if you go in person.
Leave me a comment with how much you save on your first purchase! I’m curious to know what steps you took to maximize your savings! Continue reading
